New Calls For 107.1?

Today I Notice That 107.1 Says KHRS-FM Or KHRS HD1

KHRS is an FM in Winthrop, MN, per the FCC's own database. HD1s have the same calls as the Analog channel. When did you hear this.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a call letter change that KSSE would flip in the next few weeks/months. They're at a 1.2 (matching lower powered sister station El Gato) and Entravision's revenues have plummeted 29% in Q2. The Super Estrella format is no longer syndicated, KSSE is the only remaining station using the format and it employs on-air talent from 6 am to 8 pm unlike its sister stations that use little or no on-air talent. It wouldn't hurt for Entravision to try a new format on 107.1.

I think we should take shots every time Indie is mentioned, but I would be surprised to see it return to the airwaves. According to the man in charge of the dot com, it is making TONS of money, and TONS of people are streaming it on a daily basis...

I just listened to the top of the hour ID. I heard KSSE, KSSC, AND KSSD. I'm not sure where your located but they still have the same calls.

The LA market is reported off 31%. Entravision is actually doing better than most broadcast companies.

The Super Estrella format is no longer syndicated,

KSSE was never on the network.

There has been a lot of chatter, and it makes total sense, to move the El Gato format to a good signal.

I landed on Super Estrella as I pulled int the garage tonight, and only caught part of a song, so I have no idea if they are using KSSE/KSSC/KSSD, but their calls displayed KHRS-FM on HD. Looks like they may have let the "Gato" out of the bag early.

I wonder if the calls indicate the new All-Forest Lawn format... K-Hearse.

Hey Guys! Its just a glitch in the program that puts the call letters of the station up on the display of your HD radio. The KHRS-FM is a default setting in the local station equipment for the station ID. The same thing happened here in Sacramento with one of the stations. I think it was KWOD or 98 Rock..the local station engineer just hasn't caught it yet. Tune in later it will be fixed. Hey it's already been restored to its proper setting.

It's the one format whose listeners really are too cool to wear the PPM device.
