New Calls for "Eagle"?

Now that Cox has dropped the "Point" for the "Eagle", does anyone know if the calls are going to be changed? I listened to the Eagle a couple of days ago, and they were still ID'ing as WBPT. The FCC site still has the calls as WBPT, also. I figured there must be a place somewhere on the site with pending call letter changes, but haven't found it as of yet...

Radio stations come and go.
Does anything last forever?

Jacksonville's new Eagle that Cox launched changed their calls

I don't know much about the Eagle or their future plans, but as a former Cox employee with good friends still in the building, I can tell you what the new lineup is shaping up to look like. As of right now it appears there will be only two live jocks - Lisa Mason on mornings and Hurricane Shane on afternoons. No more Smilin' Ted and no more Brother Van - who may resurface at WNCB or on the new incarnation of WZZK.
Edited by yankeefan on 12/11/05 01:29 AM.
