New calls in Lafayette: KRKA now KHXT

I'm just finding this today, but it appears that as of 1/13/2010, Hot 107-9 is now KHXT.

So, congratulations on finally shedding the calls from a format you left seven years ago, guys—next step is to let go of K-Rock's old VO and get your own damn imaging voice! :)

Hmmm... actually, I saw the application, but I figured it was just a standard Aux application. That explains the day that they were off-air (with "El Norrrrrrte!" KQQK/Beaumont-Houston booming in) a while back and why the signal was spotty in Lafayette and nonexistent in Baton Rouge.

As of today (2/1), the application for 5.2kw has disappeared from the FCC database and they appear to be back at 97kw. Also, they FINALLY have a new VO guy and seem to be leaning slightly more Rhythmic CHR, less Urban with the new positioner "Acadiana's Hottest Music."
