new~Chicago Music~

does any one know, any station (preferably US or Canada)
playing the NEW chicago single "Free" (released on 02-14/2006)

the forth coming album, is march 21(i believe)..i personally
am not a fan, but my best friend is - and, he is not into
radio as much but wondered how/where it is being played(if at all)..
or, if there are any testing waters for the album..(new album: chicago 30)

he says if a station/market doesnt support the single, the
band wont stop in that area..and, he dont want to travel
4-6 hrs (again) to see them live in concert..

any help/input would be great.

Chicago has not made anything of artistic signifigance or merit since 1978.

i agree, but my friend is the fan...this is the one
case, "where i have a friend" and there really is a friend : )

"All Roads Lead To You" and "Show Me a Sign", their two radio singles in 1998, were pretty damn good at reviving the classic brassy '70s Chicago sound (as opposed to their synthesizer- and ballad-heavy '80s sound), but got little airplay at the time and have totally disappeared from radio playlists since then.

Also, 2007 will be Chicago's 40th anniversary as a musical group, so I'm sure they'll have some new CD box set in stores which will help them gain some publicity and perhaps get a new song played on the radio again.
