New choices for older listeners

Sirius had cancelled its big band channel years ago. It's now back as Sirius inherits XM's ''40s on 4'' while keeping its standards channel ''Siriusly Sinatra.'' Old school beautiful music/easy listening is on ''Escape.'' There's also ''On Broadway'' for classic showtunes but they play new stuff too.

Also remaining is Radio Classics, and the schedule shows another channel will have all Bing Crosby Christmas specials all Christmas week. Now if only the older listeners can figure out how to work the Sirius radios - 'where's the tuner knob on this contraption'?

Dude, that was NAS-TY... ???

Some of us 50+ types are showing our kids and grandkids how to work their satellite radio. Plus we've got the money to give them the radios... and the service.

You tell 'em Fred. Seems that the people who complain about a bad economy are people who've already spent next year's income.
