New CHR in Dallas on 107.9

I'm glad the Hispanic companies like Univision and SBS are starting to launch bi-lingual younger targeted stations (like "RadioH2O in Dallas and DJ 106.7 in Miami this past week). The younger Hispanic audience, and 2nd and 3rd generations, are certainly bi-lingual and listen to mainstream music formats. I think we'll continue to see a shift towards more formats like this and fewer Regional Mexican outlets.

Anyway, I'm not Latino, and don't speak Spanish, but I'm all for this move because it gives me more CHR/Hit Music options:)

I agree..I live in Dallas, and have been listening off and on to 107.9 It seems to be extremely carbon copy of KHKS, except H2O plays Lady Antebellum, Band Perry, Train, and artists that you would never think of hearing on a Univision station. Music is all English, but commercials still in Espanol

I have to disagree. I listened yesterday and this station was in the mix from 5pm until about 3 or 4 am in the morning. Something Kiss wouldn't dare do. H2O has a little more energy than Kiss and i93. It sounds more like a rhythmic pop station.
