New CHR in Medford?

Country KRVC-FM (98.9 The Wolf)/Medford-Ashland, OR, flips to CHR as "Hot 98-9" with syndicated Kidd Kraddick in mornings and syndicated Ryan Seacrest in afternoons.

Did anybody hear their sign on? Are they solid? Oh, and of course..... are they hiring? ;)

Times must have really changed, because when I worked for them they paid me well. It's all in the deal you make.

Are they hiring? If you have talent, and the sound they're looking for, bet you'll get in. It's a very tight market and most of air talents have been around for a long, long time. It's a lot more competetive than you would expect for a market that size, you'll have to work hard.
 
Great. Two of your most important dayparts and you turn 'em over to syndicated programming sent from a thousand miles away and hosted by jocks who wouldn't know Medford, Oregon from Medford, Mass., or Medford Wisconsin, etc... Does anyone understand the importance of localization any more??
 
98-9....BORING! And they're off the air periodically. What's up wit dat?

Is it owned by Opus? If so, that explains it. They'll never touch Kiss 107 FM!!!

I hate listening to Jodie Kramer ramble on about women's fitness!!!! Ugh!!!!!!!!
