new country 99.1 kxkc

so when did the repositioning happen?? i just discoved it when i heard hank 3!! that made me stop on 99.1..its now new country 99.1 kxkc..but they played hank william jr also..family tradition!! from 1978!! :)<P ID="signature">______________

You sure about the Hank Jr? (as oldest I am aware of them playing is 1988..at the begining of the young country kick) They repositioned at least a month or two ago, and mainly plays late country (1996 and newer). Haven't heard Hank III but they do put out artists before the Baton Rouge stations (I like the quality of both Lafayette stations better than BR unfortuneately).

BTW- Did some research and Hank IIIs "Low Down" was played this morning on 99.1

yea im sure...they are playing music from the 70s-8os and they are calling themselves new country..thats ok with me :)
