New Country Station in Fort Wayne?

I saw an ad on All Access yesterday looking for an air staff for a country station in Fort Wayne that isn't on the air yet. Unless things have changed that would make three stations (not including rimshots) in the market playing country. Fort Wayne can barely support the two that it has; a third would just be insane. Does anyone have any insight on this and also does anyone know where I can get the stuff that the owner's smoking?

If you're referring to the ad posted by Scott Roddy, I believe it's BTU, the newly-acquired Oasis property. There are similarities between the wording of other recent posts by Roddy and other Oasis employment ads.

The sale of WBTU Kendallville, Indiana is tied up. Have you read the Petition to Deny filed with
the FCC? It is possible the FCC will not allow this transfer. AMP may have to keep this station.

In the end I really feel bad for Russ in the deal but its kinda funny about AMP. People like Adam Mayfield and who not getting the raw shaft in the deal, adam is a great kid and deserves this shot at making BTU something worthwhile.

I'm having a hard time finding the "Petition to Deny" on the FCC website. Does anyone know what the link is? Or how to find it?

I am having a hard time with the wording of the job posting. It's actually false advertising. It's still at 93.3 and it's still going to be a country station. It is on the air and the ad says that it isn't. It not a new station, just a new brand for the station. Maybe some new call letters. They will never beat QHK in Fort Wayne. It just won't happen unless QHK beats themselves.

Could you please enlighten me on the false advertising claim. Your words "it's actually false advertising" do not offer an opinion, but rather, offer a prima facie statement of fact. While I agree that it maybe a matter of parsing words and semantics, a charge of false advertising carries legal ramifications. Do you have any proof that there is a conscious, calculated, and concerted effort to mislead and advance a fraud in this matter? If that is true, you may have information that could disqualify the licensee from continuing to operate the station because of character issues as well as civil liabilities for deceptive and misleading business practices. Withholding that information could be construed as obstruction of justice if an investigation should occur. If you are in possession of facts or material information you might want to check your mailbox for correspondence from the owner's attorneys or maybe even a subpoena to Federal Court. Have a nice day.

I smell an attorney...or maybe it's just someone who watches way too many episodes of Law and Order.

I think "CountryRadio" was just expressing his opinion. Lighten up...
