It seems that Kevin O'neil, is coming in as the new Coyote PD. Anybody know this guy? Any word on a PD for KKLZ or Star? What will O'neil do with the air staff?

I heard Kevin O'Neal's name floating around the first time the PD position became available at COYOTE.

If it's the same Kevin O'Neal that I have heard of (which I assume it is) he programmed such country stations as WSOC/Charlotte and WSM-FM/Nashville. I also remember there being a Kevin O'Neil at WMIL/Milwaukee in the early 90s.

O'Neal made industry headlines a few years ago when he filed a Million dollar breach-of-contract lawsuit against Gaylord (or whoever owned WSM at the time). Apparently, WSM-F fired him because he took time off work to get medical treatment for diabetes. I never heard what the outcome of the lawsuit was.
