New dance station in Washington DC - Area 95.5

Enjoyed this station when passing through DC, all the way from Laurel, MD to Triangle, VA solid for 50 miles. I think WPGC is running a higher HD power. It's a bit heavy on the pop side, and doesn't play much new dance music. One thing that sticks out is heavy rotation of Medina - You And I.

Looks like someone has stole my trademark.... Area 93 is your real EDM station .,

OK just so you know,, I wish the best for the station, Now that I think about it I think its cool that the Area brand is being used, and that I was one of the first to use it,,,, but I totally spaced out Area on XM... :p And for some reason KTCL Channel 93.3 in Denver,,,Has its website as Area 93.3... i did some research on that.

Regardless if it's pop heavy with dance remix singles...WPGC HD2 is going to have a major following. It may overtake its Urban HD1 in the ratings.

It will not. There simply aren't enough HD radios out there. That's a failure of HD radio, not the dance format.
