New Dennis Miller morning show...who's got it?

Dennis might be a little too high-brow for the average talk radio listener used to dumbed down rants and equally numskull callers. Unless KKOL does some advertising, Miller might languish at 0.0 except Salem has proved they're willing to support a well-known air personality with advertising dollars. Look at what KLFE did with Dr. Laura. They did a modest amount of promotion and bought some bus boards. Unfortunately there's nothing else worth listening to on KLFE; not so with KKOL especially with their pending power increase. Dennis might well be the drawing card to encourage people to lock in 1300 AM.

There might be something else worth hearing on KLFE if you love Dr. Laura.... if you can hear KLFE from where you are.

Besides, WW1 just wants a S-T clear and Salem just wants $$.

So far the affiliates I've checked are all delaying the show to later in the day, which prompts the question, will there be sufficient "live carriage" to provide a good mix of listener calls.

Decided to check Dennis out today while waiting for the Mariners' game to begin. Well, the game has been on for an hour, and I'm still on KKOL!

There's nobody quite like him on the radio these days, and if you enjoy show biz with a political overlay,(or vice versa) he's right up your alley. As soon as he got Martin Short on the line, I knew there was no way I could tune him out.

Doesn't seem starved for callers, although he did volunteer "I'm not supposed to say where you're calling from."
