New Denver to the log 3/23/14

Just 24 hours after logging KCKM, KSJB, KBRF and CFCO in one evening, I bag another new station at 1:00 this morning.

1600 - KEPN Denver, CO; in fade of KTUB-UT (pest), heard partial ID "...EPN, Lakewood-Denver" at 0100 PT 3/23; running NBC Sports Radio. NEW #602, 5KW, 914 miles. Always great to bag another Denver into the logbook. 1600 is a crowded channel with KVRI, KTUB, KGST and KOPB all swapping with each other, and it is hard to get to the farther Midwest stuff. CO #14.

Denver seems to be on sort of a dividing line. Where I am in the Chicago area, it's easy enough to get stations east of there. Farther west is problematic. The easy DX is basically the area between the Rockies and the Atlantic.
