I'M GREAT FRIENDS WITH LISA PAIGE, THE WOMAN WHOSE BEEN ON THE RADIO WITH ROMEO ON THE RADIO FROM 2-6PM

HERE ARE HER WORDS ABOUT THE CHANGES THAT ARE BEING MADE ON Z-100 AS SHE SENT ME:
We're trying some new stuff out on Z. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Romeo and I think our chemistry is great. the morning show is off this week. that's why I'm able to swing working on Z this week. Do we sound ok?? Keep your fingers crossed for us girl. WE want this gig at Z!! Either way, I'm so glad you listen.. Appreciate the love Steph..

I'll be on again tomorrow with Ryan Hall. I'll miss my Romeo. Hopefully we'll be back on again very soon...

Have a great night!

Lisa

I'm sure her current bosses and co-workers at Q102 would be thrilled to see this. Boy are you stupid. Trying so hard to be hip and in the know that you sacrificed a friend.

The more I think about Radaio's response, the more I question his statement about Lisa's fellow Q102 employees.  I can agree that they don't want to find out about something like this on a message board, but why wouldn't they be "thrilled?"  This chick would make more money in New York, no?  We're all trying to make it big.  If I worked with a person who got hired at Z100, I'd be giddy.

Also, I just noticed that we indeed have the ability to edit our posts. I'm an idiot.

Will,

The problem is that if a person has a job and co-workers who think they are dedicated to their gig, you shouldn't hear otherwise from some putz who posts a private email when you confide in them. It's moronic. And yes, a friend would be happy for someone who got a gig at Z100. A boss and co-worker who counts on them would not.

I agree.

Tough luck for the boss and coworkers. We're all in the game to get the biggest check and be on the biggest stick. New York trumps Philly. I'm sure that if this lady went to New York, Mr. Philly PD would have little difficulty replacing her. The insinuation that any boss, in an industry full of lying disingenuous suits, would not be happy for one's ascent up the radio ladder makes me sick. I've worked for a PD who went out of his way to talk trash to his employees and discourage his people from moving on to better-paying jobs in larger markets simply because he was a complacent and bitter man.

I don't know a thing about anybody who works at Q102, but I certainly hope that anybody with the privilege to work in Philadelphia is professional enough to give somebody a pat on the back if they take a job in New York. If that's not the case, then I'm fully convinced that I made the right decision to no longer pursue a radio career.

Will,

I agree with you but you are again missing my point. It's not whether her bosses and co=workers should be happy for her, it's this.

A dopey friend or fan should not re=post a private email that expresses true private feelings, when it's possibvle that this was being looked at as a fun shift to do and not an audition per say. The poster doesn't know what the DJ told her station. The Poster decided that they were going to try and be "in the know" and didn't think about the consequences. Plus, rather than just deleting or editing their post, they put up a new post that says "ignore my last inflamatory post. I don't know anything" when 1. They could have edited their first post and 2. how can you try to BS after the fact that you don't know anything when your first post was a DIRECT QUOTE!!!! The poster is stupid. That was really my only point.
We don't need to debate the merits of job hunting in America anymore. Cool?

Agreed a private email is a private email, no matter how accurate or inaccruate it may be

Obviously, the personal e-mail shouldn't have been posted. But do you really think her bosses at Q102 didn't know she was doing swing at Z? And assuming they do, do you think they would be surprised that she was hoping to get on the biggest CHR in the country (and in the same family as the Q)? I don't. It's no big deal.

Beachbum...you are so late to the party. We are done debating this. OF COURSE the bosses new...but they might have known that she was filling in for extra cash and NOT lookin got leave. The posts were moe about the stupid POST-er and and moronic way of covering their gaf by saying "please ignore my post. I don't know anything" after they posted that they were DIRECT qoutes from an email.

I gotta agree...

This person quoting private e-mails is obviously a mental patient.
