NEW DTV STATION IN HOUSTON

I found a new station the other day on my DTV converter box.
It is on CHANNEL-10. Call Sign of K10PY-D. It has 5 programs running on it:

1. Spanish
2. Color Bars
3. "The Cool TV" music videos
4. Infomercials
5. GemsTV Home Shopping

My set even picked up on a 6th program, but my box says no signal
The Spanish on it can also be found on Analog channel 43.
Anyone have any info on these stations? Power/antenna location(s)
Who ever these guys are, they really their stuff together. Heck, I am enjoying some of the music videos.

K10PY has actually been on for a while. I seem to recall a previous thread on these boards about it.

Curious if KHLM is keeping their analog on much longer? I saw them running a crawl last week advising viewers about late night interruptions to their signal due to work on the digital conversion. They do have a construction permit to switch to digital on 43, so it would seem they will be flash-cutting in the near future, if not on June 12.

Since KHLM is an LPTV station, my understanding is that they won't have to cease analog broadcast on June 12th. This would also apply for KBPX-LP 33 (Ion) and I believe the LP on Ch. 21 (Spanish Religious).

34 no longer running? It's been ages since I last checked. Whatever happened to 30 re-entering the picture as well.

KUVM/34 is still on with Azteca America programming.

KCVH/30 is in the process of being sold to Aleluya Christian Broadcasting, which owns KRTX 980 and KFTG 88.1. Presumably it will be relaunched with Spanish language religious programming, which would make it pretty much the same as KVQT/21.

KCVH has been dark for a year, since the demise of LAT-TV. I did see the transmitter on with color bars one weekend a few months ago.

Update: No sign of KHLM analog on Channel 43 at a 5:40pm check on Thursday 6/11. Usually a watchable signal at my location. Perhaps they have flash cut already?

According to the Chronicle's DTV story, KHLM transitioned to Digital at 12:00am on the morning of Thursday, Jun 11. As soon as I got home, I fired up the receiver and hit "43" - and voila - 4 new channels 43.1-43.4. 43.1 is the SD channel that used to be 43. 43.2 & 43.3 are color bars and 43.4 has some Spanish (religious?) programming.
