The President just signed a bill into law witch would make posting annoying
posts about someone ,or sending e mail 'illegal' ,unless you give your REAL NAME.
The Moderators may want to check this new law and see if this board is
effected...

> Hi,
CNET NEWS.COM
Jan 9, 2005 its for real!
My best to you,
Chatty

If there was a such law, I know quite a few people that would no longer post here. I hope a law like that happens, so people who are victims of libel and slander on the internet and message boards like this one can take action against the bullies. Well, then again, there is a reason that people hide behind their computers. But it's not hard to find out IP addresses either.
Edited by Randy on 01/12/06 01:59 PM.

<<>> Shawn or Kerri, and Fallr, can we stick to the topic please?
I heard Mike Malloy going off about this law,so I think its for real.
Many times ,the people giving inside info on Radio info ,would be
unwilling to ,for fear of losing his or her job.
I`d like to know who sponsered this bill.
I`d like to know if Radio info will have a problem.
Alan..

I think it's more to deal with someone being threatened on-line.

I hope he signs a bill that makes it illegal for a President to annoy citizens
