"Keweenaw Bay Indian Community-owned Eagle Radio is hoping to add a third station to its radio portfolio. Eagle Radio applied for a Federal Communications Commission license last year under a program that allots open licenses to tribes, and will probably broadcast an easy listening format if the permit is granted, said General Manager Ed Janisse."
Not entirely sure what their definition of easy-listening is or what programming service they will be using, but it's nice to see that a broadcaster has faith in the format.
