New England Flooding

K

KML0224

Guest
How has the flooding affected radio and its transmitters so far, especially into New Hampshire and eastern Massachusetts? We got hit hard here in Connecticut on Friday (4 inches in New Britain with more on the way today). NECN showed Peabody, MA, north of Boston as being in terrible shape. I know that WMKK-FM 93.7 of Lynn/Boston has their transmitter there.

I think WMKK's transmitter isn't affected. The area of Peabody that's under water is Peabody Square, but WMKK is just off Rt 128 (and Rt 1) on fairly high ground and not close to the center of Peabody at all.
