NEW ENGLAND TV STATIONS STILL WITHOUT A DIGITAL SIGNAL

WEDH for one. They should be up soon enough.

WPFO doesn't and won't until the shutoff. Dunno if WCWF in Saranac Falls counts; same story there.

That's all I know of off-hand.

I've been hearing August for WEDH-DT to sign on. At this time, I live in New Britain and have to pull in a semi-reliable signal of WEDN-DT from Norwich.

As for WPFO-TV, I think they presently supply a cable-only digital feed to Time/Warner Cable in Portland.

Also, who is WCWF-TV? I almost thought you meant WFFF-TV/DT (FOX) of Burlington, VT for a minute.

Does anyone know if WYDN-DT 47 (analog ch 48 Worcester) is on the air yet? No sign of the station's digital signal in the Providence area.

WCWF is not a New England TV station, it is licensed to Saranac Lake, NY.

The following stations do not have DTV on the air yet.

WPFO Waterville, ME. They are "flash cutting" back to 23.
WNYA Pittsfield, MA. They are going to 13 after 13 in Albany, NY signs off their analog.
I believe WYDN-DT is off until they get the TX installed on the WBZ tower.

I excluded Low Power stations which have digital flash cut, digital companion channels, and class A stations.

That's why I said I didn't know if it counts. It's licensed in Saranac Lake, but targets Burlington VT and is in its DMA.
