New Entercom Building?

I heard a rumor. All six Entercom properties are moving to a new location with all operating under one roof. Supposedly somewhere off Mt Moriah.

Is this legit? Inside info? Feedback?

This would all make sense, but having the WMC stations move from Union would be kind of a bummer.

Same thing CC did years ago. Wouldn't it be interesting if they landed in the same complex?? ;D

Yeah, any station(s) moving from Downtown/Midtown out to Mt. Moriah sucks, but it seems like a smart idea putting all 6 stations in one area.
Then again CBS/Infinity/etc Boston had 5 stations in 5 different buildings throughout the city, and that was pretty cool. I have heard that lately they have moved most into one building to save money.

How cool would it be to move a radio station to the old Platinum Plus building? "Broadcasting Live from the stripper pole that got you divorced!"

And, naturally, with this type pf consolidation...
Jobs will have to be consolidated, too...
If you work for Entercom at ANY property, it might be a good idea to keep the ol' resume fresh.
There are SEVERAL recent incidents that lead to this conclusion.

thanks for reminding everyone meepster
sure they have no idea that radio is a job with lots of turnover

I personally am not hoping for anyone to lose their job
a new building could be nice
maybe it will be live from wolfchase galleria?
hehe
ok that does not beat the old platinum

They could re-locate to Peabody Place - seems like there's lots of open spaces available there now. Ya know, it'd be kinda fun to be in the old Tower Records place.
