Anyone know anything about these new mics from Electro-Voice? The Cardinal is a condenser, the Raven a dynamic.

Mics co-designed by B.L.U.E.

These make me want to grab a harmonica and start stompin' out some blues....

or maybe pick one up and announce the arrival of Trailways #433 from Phoenix, leaving for Alamagordo, San Angelo, Dallas, Beaumont, and Houma.

Those guys at BLUE are so cool..Wonder how they sound?

I tried the "Blueball" for vo just for fun, sounded bad.
It's "honky", great for trumpet I guess.

A mic to try is an Audio-Technica ATM 25. It's a hypercardoid dynamic mic
that sounds awesome for vo. Like the RE-20, it's a kickdrum mic. In fact, it looks like a mini RE-20. It's highly directional, and does not pick up bad room acoustics.

Use a Stedman pop filter and a decent pre, and you'll get a big sound.

Bradley Broadcast supply suggested it's a "best kept secret". I bought one, and I agree.

Jeff, this might be perfect for your RV.

I highly recommend it. Only $159.00!
