The new single by the British band The Fall is a sparkling cover of The Move's "I Can Hear the Grass Grow". I've been a fan of these guys since they started back in '78, and this is one of their very best singles ever. It'd be nice for them to finally get some long-overdue US airplay with this one.

They're gettin' it out of me...

But then my love for The Fall is a matter of record. (Having the only self-programmed show at a AAA NPR affiliate helps my airplay ability a bit.)
