New FM STATION IN Chillicothe, OHIO?

St. Gabriel Radio radio, the owner of WUCU-AM in Marysville, Ohio clams to have
a license to build a new FM station in the Chillicothe/Circleville area. A search of
http://www.radio-locator.com fails to show any NEW valid CP for an FM station in
the Chillicothe/Circleville area of Ohio. Dose anyone have a clue as to what FM
station they are talking about??

St. Gabriel Radio is the same group that hoped to buy WILE-AM 1270 in Cambridge,
Ohio so they could take it off the air and then upgrade their tower site to serve
Columbus, Ohio with 10,000 watts of power on 1270 AM. This upgrade was planed
to be up and running this past May 1st but the deal with WILE-AM fell through so
their planned power upgrade of the WUCO tower site are dead for now.

South Central & Southern Ohio Stations

Dear St. Gabriel Radio Family,

We have been granted a unique opportunity to build two new FM Catholic radio stations in the Chillicothe/Circleville area and in the Portsmouth/ West Portsmouth area, but we need your help.

You, our St. Gabriel radio family, already know the benefits of listening to WFOT and/or WUCO Catholic Radio. So we are asking for your urgent one time only help to bring our signal to those less fortunate than you, in Ohio! Won’t you help us to help your brothers and sisters in south central and southern Ohio to be able to enjoy the graces that God provides through a local Catholic radio station?

Our request for help from you is urgent because we have a very limited amount of time to build these two stations. The government granted us two licenses to build these new Catholic stations, but the clock is ticking on the time we have to complete the construction and be on the air. If we fail to finish the projects in the allotted time we will completely lose the opportunity and the two licenses will expire forever and not be renewed.

There you go -- those are the two I 'think' their talking about... On a side note, these where applied for during the big non com windows that we saw everyone and their brother apply for so it appears FCC has started to grant for those with non MX'ed apps.

ST GABRIEL RADIO, INC says they have a very limited amount time to build this station. 36 months doesn't seem to be a very limited time to build this station.
I've seen much larger new FM stations built in just a few months time from scratch.

Also, they say that the CP on 91.1 FM is in the Chillicothe/Circleville area.
They seem to indicate that the station will be easily heard in the Chillicothe/Circleville area once it is built but the FCC's 60 dBu map for the station shows this is not the case. In fact Chillicothe and Circleville aren't even in the 60 dBu coverage area of this new CP for 91.1 in WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE, Ohio.

This is the FCC's 60 dBu coverage map for this new CP on 91.1 in WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE, Ohio:
