New FM translator station Eatontown

100.7 TR signed on from Eatontown transmitting WHTG-am playing oldies from the 50's to the 70's and it has a good signal in Eastern Monmouth County now blocking fringe reception from WHUD from Peekskills NY and the 100.7 from Tom's River playing WJRZ FM which proposed to move to 100.5 with a stronger signal directionally to the south. And from the FCC data base there is another 100.7 in the county near 6 flags relaying the religious station.

I am at Monmouth Mall right now and hear dead air. Maybe it was a test signal?
