A new signal has emerged on FM 103.3 in Sugar Land. Does anyone have any information on this signal?

If you have time go to the FM Query page at the FCC website, put in Texas, then under frequency put in 103.3. That should give every station in Texas on that frequency. You will have to sort thru, I would start with looking at construction permits on translators.
Yep, was gonna say the same thing. Looks to be another "broadcaster" using Alpert as a lawyer. Claims to be translating KGLK, I can't tell because I am too far north and pick up the KNTH translator. "200 watts" atop the ATC site SE of Senior Road... another flamethrower, even if they are actually transmitting at the licensed ERP.
K273DO has South Asian programming, but can’t remember the name of the programmer. The previous 102.5 signal was quite good in northern Fort Bend County as well as in Pearland.
Can’t check as I get La Mejor on 102.5 and the KNTH translator on 103.3 here in NW Harris County.

It is. I found out awhile ago when I noticed it was different programming than HUM FM. Their legal ID on 102.5 was just the translator calls.
How bad does this new signal kill KNTH 103.3?
Not at all. In The Heights I can’t hear either, moving north towards Rankin and 45 I start picking up the KNTH translator.
The other night I was able to find a weak spot in KNTH and heard the new translator over it in Conroe. Definitely not something a normal listener would even hear though but possible with the right conditions. I think it’s more likely for KBPA’s HD to weaken the translator.

Especially during tropos. The stations from the El Campo/Bay City area come in nicely some nights
i would not expect it to stay at the current location. you do know who is behind this new 103.3 right?
The translator or the Wharton allocation petition that was granted?
I would think second adjacent considerations with KLTN will limit how close the Wharton station could get to Houston.
