New FMs (and Cuban AM) past two days

Have gotten some good DX lately. Starting with the FM side, one new log yesterday and another this morning due to fog and a local off.

88.1 - KCWU Ellensburg, WA; heard with ID around 1120 PT 1/24 with ID "88.1 the Burg" and a mix of college rock and older rock music. NEW FM #390, 430W at 29 miles. Not far, but with a local usually on this frequency (KYTR) it is impossible to hear KCWU.

This morning:
88.7 - KAGU Spokane, WA; classical music and TOH ID at 1000 PT 1/25 mentioning Gonzaga University and Spokane. NEW #391, 5KW at 168 miles. Foggy conditions have allowed for some good tropo toward the Spokane/Moscow ID area today.

And then the new Cuban on AM, heard last night:
900 - CMKB Cacocum, Cuba; heard with Radio Progreso programming, tropical music etc. // 4.765 khz at 2005 PT 1/24. NEW #683, 50KW at 3054 miles! Again, far eastern Cuban DX.

Another new one to add on FM:

88.1 - KYRS Medical Lake, WA; heard with ID for "Thin Air Community Radio," mention of KYRS.org and mention of a bluegrass concert coming to Spokane at 1110 PT 1/25. NEW #392, 6,800 watts at 154 miles. Again, KYTR Union Gap was off the air, had it not been the case this station would have never been logged.

KYTR unfortunately returned to the air late last night, killing any sign of KAYB or KCWU that had been evident.
Spokane tropo was very good yesterday morning.

I actually heard R. Progreso on 900 last Friday morning out at Honeymoon Island and forgot to include it. Signal was weak, but clearly audible. During my stays these last three years at St. Pete Beach, I haven't spent much time on 900, which I always thought of as home to XEW, the blowtorch in Mexico City.

So.... Last night I decided to hang out on 900 to hear what's going on. What's going on is now all R. Progreso. Pretty much alone and every bit as robust as the good R. Progresso signals on 880 and 890 (which as often as not have WCBS and WLS respectively underneath).

Perhaps this has already been discussed, but is XEW now totally off AM? I couldn't hear it last night underneath Cuba. I'm also wondering if R. Progresso on 900 got a power boost, some sort of upgrade, or is even a new facility in the aftermath of the Chinese doing their refurb of some of those aging Cuba transmitters recently.
