Its sort of pop and tropical, without the hardcore tropical sound. This is a compliment to the new morning show and the afternoon show, which is talent driven. It's more of a shift than a change, while Sol is pretty much a total change

I have no idea who the APD of 790 is, but I'd advise you against giving credence to what they tell you. Were we setting odds, here is how I would book 'em: SBS sells WCMQ: 1000 to 1 against. Lincoln buys anything: 5000 to one against. Anyone brings a second oldies format in English to Miami: 200 to 1 against.
While I was chatting for several hours last night with Enrique and Joe, I did not sense they thought there was a signal problem on WRTO... it's 100 kw at nearly 1500 feet, and the 70 dbu goes beyond Hollywood.

I would also agree you need a new radio. I've never once heard any the FM frequencies in this town broadcast on the other. I don't listen to either station very much. I used to like WEDR, but i've out grown their demo by about a decade or more (maybe)
I do like listening on Sundays though for the Gospel. As far as La Kalle, only when my wife's in the car do I listen to spanish language stations, but I do like their music selection now as opposed to when they gave the reggaeton all that airplay. That kind of music flies with Puerto Ricans, but not so much in the Cuban community it seems.
