Q is changing formats to an F?

Although this is usually the typical bin-laden style bomb, run, hide, and laugh type of joke, lets answer it just to see if anyone can grip the real concepts involved in this answer. Yes, cocky, but the things that happen here on the blog tend to even make a happy-go-happy beach bum like myself turn jaded on occasion. Lets see if anyones paying attention....

Put the format together, get some killer classic and new jocks, and give it a couple years here in CNY without watering it down. WSEN is trying, but is a bit too 60's and 50's.

It's not a joke? Is that REALLY how YOU do research? You ask fans and workers on a radio board for suggestions or bits of information?

Sorry, none of us are that smart. You'll have to go to McDonald's or Taco Bell and ask some experts.
 
Outside of The Box...

How about a freakin hybrid station.....a station that has real content, and I mean shows...all across the board
Radio has gotten dull and I think it needs to evolve...like everything else.

I know a man around your area had the same idea and flopped due to a bunch idiot ex-sidekicks who loved to think that somehow they were the next breed of entertainment, but as you see spin-offs rarely work in television let alone radio...so lets talk entertainment...the raw dog channel on seriously serious radio is funny to listen to...I could use a little bit of everything tho....a real jack...A little rap...a little rock...a little talk..maybe a few idiots who just gel on the mic and are true team members???

Unfortunatly in radio there are few of those who really "respect" the game and enjoy it so much that they'd be willing to make fools of themselves and take a chitty paycheck to get the exposure and attention and create a buzz that works for the whole station...

So there it is....a hybrid....maybe bring back a genre once lost....War of the Worlds anybody???

IS there anyone out there willing to take a step in the unbeaten old path of radio....my guess is no....so I'll keep my job at KFC and get my chicken for free...at least I can eat and support my crack habit all at the same time.

Dave, is it really that bad when people dont look at this crap. how about "last train to pottsdam" 24/7.

I STILL SAY A 70's FORMAT IN CNY, DONE RIGHT. RETRO 80'S WOULD BE A WEAK 2ND CHOICE. COME ON INTO TOWN, ASK FOR A HILLBILLY NAMED BRIAN OCEAN, AND YOULL HAVE YOUR TRASHED RADIO STATION BACK ON TOP.
