New format in Houston???????????

Dane Electronica

They are being real.

I would like to see a great come back for Adult Standards on AM. (Clear channel take a hint if KBME fails with sports).

Another Format that won't hurt to have back is Rhythmic Oldies.

Copy KKGB (Cumulus-Lake Charles, LA)...NOT CCC'S classic failure on a similar frequency or Cumulus's recent success in duplicating that failure..

These are some good ideas guys. Yeah i agree adult standards on AM would be good. Yep and Rhythmic oldies as well, Like i said before perhaps a Movin or Jammin station would be make a good debut in Houston.

KFMK is a pretty good station a lot better than KTFM. I think something like Jammin 105.9 might be good for Houston.

Excuse me, but I don't think that KBME is really or has been making it since they switched formats. I find it hard to believe that CC has made more money doing sports than standards. They are a failure!

Wish we had a good 60's and 70's Oldies station in Houston that played a variety of songs like KFMK and KLDE used to play.

I second that idea!
Excuese my language, but Hell Yeah.

It's just too bad that It does bad on the 12+. I just don't see how a station that good does so bad in Austin. Must be the whole "Keep Austin weird Movement" ;D

A Rock station would also be good. Active Rock to be exact. More like KISS-FM 99.5 to be more exact.

KQUE-FM was a wonderful station.
We were lucky to have it as long as we did.
It was a safe harbor in a stormy sea of format changes.

That format was done before. Do you remember Jammin' oldies 98.5 and 103.3. That was the format which displaced Smooth FM 98.5 and 103.3 in 1997.
