new format of radio/podcasting :

about a "new" radio...launchihg today.
users, logg into (.com) website, name
slips me at the moment, and then customizes
a playlist, and that can be electronically
sent to a cell ph/or other mobile device,
and possibly an iPod(uncertain of this)...

what does the forum make of this ?

I'm guessing you were talking about the new slacker.com service. I have just tried it today, and it is really interesting. Eventually it will even offer satellite radio, in a way. No live channels, but instead, 10,000 songs will be beamed via satellite every day, and your player will grab the ones that interest you.

All the music is uncensored, and I personally have not encountered any ads. In addition, they pledge not to use audio ads, only video ads or graphic ads.
