103.7 Jack FM
playing what they want
(well at least it will be listenable....If it went to anything like hip hop, etc I would be throwing up)

Guess I can modify my 100.3 JACK FM stickers......personally I like Jack....and the DFW Jack does well...
A Jack format on 103.7 will pull good numbers because of its coverage of Woodlands, Conroe and east where the older yuppies are and they will listen to it....the K HITS on 107.5 has been a lost cause in my opinion...they play too much early 60s stuff still.........

Other than Paul Christy, there is no reason to listen to K HITS, whose last four letters should be rearranged for truth in advertising.

Don't forget that congratulations are in order for Dan Gallo, too, for picking up double-duties at Cox. Word has it he'll be covering both the Country Legends mornings and the middays on KHITS. What a pleasure to finally hear a true professional and a real class act on the KHITS middays! It's definitely worth a listen, now.
 
Upon further review, I apologize for my earlier response disparaging most of the KHITS staff. I like Dan Gallo, Kevin Charles and Paul Christy. I could do without the person who is normally on the air between 6 - 7 AM.
 
Whoopsie, I reread my post and have to clarify. I agree with Stan in that I didn't mean to imply anything about any of the other talented folks currently in the building. As for mornings, I couldn't tell you; I'm a nightowl and I'm rarely up to hear any morning radio. When I do have to be up early, I'm generally listening to something online.
