You forgot 24 hour porn movie music. :) Doesn't Catholic teaching exist in Boston? WQOM 1060 IIRC.
Most of these ideas will probably find a bigger audience than 1510 WUFC or 1150 Call sign of the month.

Sorry, but I was thinking about the Traditional Latin Mass and old teachings in use before the Second Vatican Council. Well, yes, I can add porn music, but it's not for kids.
And while we're talking, let's add these:
Kids Nursery Rhymes
Dutch pop hits
Ethnic dance music
Breaking new wave and punk
Aerobics
How to Play Pool

Time Radio. Kind of like shortwave's WWV, but less geeky, and with a bit of personality. Timely news items, songs about time, and of course time announcements every minute on the minute, in a dozen languages. A huge staff of journalists -- I'd suggest hiring some who've been laid off from TIME, or the BBC's "Newshour." -- will be needed to cover up-to-the-second breaking time news from all over the world. Standard time/Daylight time changeover days as well as New Year's Eve will feature wall-to-wall coverage.

Slogans could be:
"You Give Us 22 Seconds, And We'll Give You the Time."
"All Time, All the Time."
"It's Time for the Time."

Songs... the list goes on, but here are just a few:

"Time Has Come Today" - The Chambers Bros.
"Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?" - Chicago
"Time In A Bottle" - Jim Croce
"Time (Clock of the Heart)" - Culture Club
"Time Is On My Side" - The Rolling Stones

or closing time by semisonic

Time Won't Let Me list all the songs that could fit the format, so I think it would be Good Timin' to end this particular sub-thread right now. Out of Time!

I like Blackgold's suggestion of a radio format called.....Any Questions?

I would like to hear a Amish New Wave format.

Or 60s Amish Beach music about taking the buggy to the drag strip.

Taking the musical categories, how about a station that plays some of each? Sort of a Mike FM, but they do in fact play everything. Nothing like Bollywood/Mitch Miller/Nothing But 2000s.... ;D

As for the soccer talk, there are places, mostly in Latin America, where that might actually be a viable format. GOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!
