New four bay on wjbr tower

I noticed today when I was on Naamans Road that the JBR tower has added a new four bay half way down, is it a backup for the main signal or another move in....photos of the JBR 6 bay and the new 4 bay....jbr.jpgjbr1.jpg

That 4 bay has been there for years. It's an aux antenna licensed for WJBR and is even visible in 5 year old satellite pictures.
It's a Shively 6810 in radomes. Put up in around 2008.

I was unaware that the new unpainted tower has been there that long, I seem to remember a few years back they still had the old red and white tower with the 6 bay mounted on the very top, never knew its been over 5 years since this new tower was erected.

This is pretty cool, put the address of the site 2617 Ebright Rd, new castle, de in Google Earth, and move the timeline back to 3/30/2007 and you can see both towers. It looks like the antennas have been moved to the new one at that point. The construction date on file for the new tower is 3/1/2007 ...
