New Giant Brian show with Chaffee

At 5 p.m. Friday, Project introduced Giant Brian Carothers on air with a side guy named Chaffee. (sic?) Carothers says he's been in Atlanta for two months learning the lay of the land. He plans to play music (which the Regular Guys managed to nix after a couple of years.) "We'll be the Bert Show with a ball sack," Carothers said. "We'll be the Viva morning show with the green card. We'll be the white V-103 morning show. We'll be the new Morning X with talent." Pause. "I know what you're thinking: 99X still has a morning show? Leslie Fram died four years ago. Thanks to Energizer, she's still running strong."

He starts Monday at 5 a.m.

The Viva morning show with a green card, huh? Wow. Rodney left one off: "We'll be the Opie & Anthony show without Opie or Anthony."

You have a point there. Who knows, could be the next big thing (no pun intended). Not ready to cancel XM just yet...
