it isn't like they have a farm team they can bring talent up from in a pinch. The days of weekenders honing their skills and waiting for the call to bring them up to the major league are long gone, replaced by colon cleanse infomercials

When's the last time you heard one of those? They used to be ubiquitous (cf. my handle) but now it's kars4kids and the guy who can't pronounce the names of his mortgage companies.
 
Jen's not too bad. McPhee's gone to Ch 5 and other than a very occasional fill in you prob won't hear her again on RKO. Maybe the next move, if she's not permanent, might be to
expand Lunch Money to 3 hrs. btw speaking of financial, 96.9 now has Daily Wrap 7-9 pm.

I have a feeling that Armstrong has enough sense to avoid over-extending himself financially by springing for three hours every weekday on WRKO. Were he to do that, his clients probably ought to re-examine whether they should take their business elsewhere. A financial advisor who would make such an unwise financial decision probably ought not be trusted to manage anyone's money--even his own :mad: And after all, Armstrong owns two radio stations (and LMAs a third) that already carry his messages and those of other advisors for a lot more than three hours per day. Granted, the combo of WBNW, WESO, and WPLM (AM) do not have the reach of WRKO, but they can be heard in a lot of eastern and central Mass.
