*Brian Foster has been promoted to vice president and general manager of NextMedia Group's southwest and west suburban radio station cluster. He will oversee WJOL-AM (1340), WCCQ-FM (98.3), WSSR-FM (96.7), WRXQ-FM (100.7) and WERV-FM (96.7).

Foster, who has been general sales manager of WERV, succeeds Dennis Mockler, who resigned to join Saga Communications in Charlottesville, Va.

Congrats to Brian!

I second that. Brian will do an outstanding job there. He's a great radio guy, and I consider him a good friend.
