New Gospel station on 1000 AM/105.3 FM

I'm hearing today what appears to be a new Urban Gospel station on 1000 AM/105.3 FM in the Cleveland area. The Air 1 simulcast is gone. This makes more sense for the station, based on the owner. This gives Praise 94.5/1300 some competition, although the coverage area is much smaller. It seems to be syndicated hosts leading into the Gospel music, but no positive ID on the call letters yet.

There's a LPFM in Texas, KGOD. They air the audio, dramatized versions of the Bible 24/7
Sheesh, how long it takes to get through all of that? It's not like reading a short story. I wonder if during sweep weeks they do the Old Testament. Or maybe jazz it up by bringing in celebrity readers. I could see Joel Osteen, Morgan Freeman--hey, he did play God in a movie--- Eddie Deezen [reading it in his "Grease" voice], Liam Neeson, Fran Drescher, Bobcat Goldthwait, Seth MacFarlane [doing it as Stewie, Peter Griffin, Glenn Quagmire, etc.].......I can see Saint Peter putting another checkmark next to my name right now.

There is a non-profit that utilizes a host of voices and original music to create recorded versions of the Bible (ie: everyday English or radio friendly). As a download, each module is a chapter. It sounds like radio theater. They actually do quite well with the few thousand in their East Texas listening area more than covering expenses off of donations. They do a lowkey top of the hour ID saying they are donation supported and they give the station's phone number and mailing address...no begging for cash just a statement of fact.

I think Elmer Fudd reading the Bible and Yosemite Sam as the voice of God for a bit of comic relief.

I thought the WENZ HD2 was already Praise or was it something else previously?

Technically WENZ HD2 simulcasts WJMO, which also simulcasts on 94.5 (meaning that during the top of the hour ID, they credit WJMO 1300, WENZ 107.9 HD2, and W233CG 94.5)

But once the switch to Mega officially happens, WENZ HD2 will then become the direct originating source of the Praise format, which will continue to simulcast on 94.5 (so the top of the hour ID now will only credit WENZ HD2 and W233CG).
