New Graphics on WEATHER CHANNEL

Is everyone else getting the new graphics on Weather Channel HD.actually pretty nice on-the right hand side and bottom. The SD feed ahh not to bad but the HD is nice.

Ok, that was my positive post this year for the Weather Channel.

I'll agree it looks good but for some strange reason Charter in Jackson, TN is no longer showing the local statistics or forecast on the 8s. This actually started a week or two before the new graphics started, but it's been going on close to a month. This may be totally unrelated to the new graphics, but this is the longest I've seen them go with nothing local.
 
Yes, a good upgrade, but graphics are not the overall problem for TWC. Can we say, "band-aid"?
 
TWC management has also eliminated several of the live weather segments for more reality programs. I prefer the previous graphic package. Over the new one currently running.
 
While the new package is impressive I still prefer the old package. I love the old Weather Channel format like the rest of us but I think the new format works. More people turn to online sources for weather now. I think it is genius to regionalize severe weather coverage. Show the coverage to the region affected and if it is really big stream to the rest of the country online I think that is very attractive to advertisers.
