Hey everyone,
I'm new to the board and wasn't sure if I'm supposed to introduce myself, but I thought I'd do it anyways. I know some people that post here but I've only lurked until now.
I grew up in Cleveland and lived there my whole life until a job took me away almost 2 years ago. Right now I work for a country station in western Kentucky and I absolutely love it. I feel very fortunate to have a job anywhere in radio right now and my hope is to make home to Cleveland one day and do what I love there.
I started at the Ohio Center for Broadcasting and while I was there I interned first at WKNR doing promotions and then at WMMS for The Maxwell Show. My first job was doing middays for an active rock station in western Kentucky for almost a year and a half before moving to where I am now.
This board is a great way for me to keep up with what's going on back home and I'm really glad I found it. Nice meeting you all and thanks for reading.
