new guy with a website question

Before I ask my first question on this fine board that I have read daily for many many months....

I am not in radio or any media. I have a passion for radio that goes back to when I was very small and I hope I can contribute occasionally to a discussion with an outsider's/listener's thoughtful perspective on radio and media.

Having said that, what is the name of the website that catalogs what stations are playing and when from all over the country?

Thanks for the help!

Welcome Steve. The website you are looking for is www.yes.net . It doesn't have every radio station, just the ones that report in. Glad youa re here and hope you can contribute to our discussions!

I was just at yes.net and I can't figure out how to check played songs for certain staions.

It looks like they have changed the website to sell an interactive product for radio stations.

I hope that the previously played songs cataloged list isn't gone forever.

What do you guys think?

I would also suggest going to www.allaccess.com and signing up for an account there... It is free to register and they have a section that has playlists, via Mediabase 24/7, that has the playlists of all the Mediabase-monitored stations.
