New Hampshire news on the radio

I recently moved to southern New Hampshire from Massachusetts and would like to hear New Hampshire news. My previous listening choice, WBZ Boston, has lots of Massachusetts news, weather and traffic reports, but much of it is irrelevant to me now. I also used to listen to WTAG Worcester, which had five-minute local news every hour.

WGIR Manchester bills themselves as "New Hampshire's NewsRadio" but all I hear are right-wing talk shows and Fox news on the hour. The only local content seems to be a weather report after the network news.

Are there any commercial stations in New Hampshire, listenable in the Nashua area, that carry state and local news? How about New Hampshire Public Radio?

Not sure what the hourly news situation is there, but 107.7 WTPL-FM in Concord might be worth a try, though reception could be spotty where you are. Their mornings are local.

NHPR is a safe bet- but they are more focused on their off the bird content IMHO than local stories.

Try WCAP 980 from Lowell or better yet WSMN 1590 from Nashua and see if they satisfy your local news fix.

If you can get it, 1290 WKBK Keene has a live news block from 5-6 am, live local news every half hour until 9, after network news @ 10 and 11am, a half hour news block at 1130, and live news every half hour 3-7pm.
Unfortunately, no streaming yet.

Doesn't WSMN have news in Nashua now? They also have Woody Woodland on too.

Whose bright idea was to put the local news block from 5-6am?? Wouldn't it work better at an hour when people are actually awake?
