info collected from a friend of mine who works with him now.

I think he was at Kiss 95.7 before '91 wasn't he? I'm thinking more like '89. Ahh, those were the days :) Kiss was awesome back then, not the embarrassment that it is now. But, I digress....

And who's the chick? She sounds like she just smoked a pack of cigarettes and chased that with a pint of whiskey.

i find it funny that when a man has a deep voice he has great pipes, and when a woman does she's a whiskey drinking, chain smoker. ???

I agree with the reporter...I can't stand a few things in certian female announcers....I hate the "I'm trying to be all breathy sexy"
I have high nasily voices....espically a particular traffic girl whom shall remain nameless (by the way congrats to her on the fox 61 gig)
I think Chaz has a sexy voice...Have thought that since the 104 days.

There was a time, and frankly there still is, when 12+ was the most important stat in the ARBs. It's micro-science and micro-management that developed the #1 in bald men 25-54" concept....presumeable so every station could be #1 in [i]something. Stations are still placed, as far as positions go, for their 12+ numbers so you could make the argument that you ain't #1 til you're #1 12-plus.

Ad agencies don't buy 12+ ratings though. Today's sweet spot seems to be women/persons/men 25-54, depending on the client.

Actually, agencies are looking more strongly at 18-49 numbers as a criteria to buy. The 25-54 segment is still important but losing ground as they grow older and, assumedly, thriftier.
