Someone on another board said Hum Desi moved to 97.1 HD2.

98.7 HD-2 ESPN Deportes
98.7 HD-3 ESPNEWS (The cable network's audio)

That's pretty much the same thing they had in Bristol, CT with their experimental 98.1 Campus Radio WX4ESPN, except instead of ESPNEWS the HD3 switched between the 4 ESPN O&O stations. That station has since gone dark due to CC's new 97.9 ESPN WUCS Windsor Locks/Hartford.

Maybe you meant to post on the New YORK board?

New JERSEY's 98.7 - WCZT / Villas, NJ is still HotAC and it is still "98.7 The Coast" (http://www.987thecoast.com/).

Also, New JERSEY's 98.7 - WCZT - is not currently broadcasting in HD, only 6,000 watts of analog.

Lastly, New JERSEY's two FM ESPN radio stations, 97.3 WENJ / Millville and 97.5 WPEN-FM / Burlington have not changed anything.

We might as well have a North Jersey board and South Jersey board with this reply ::)

That Edison Translator was broadcasting the HumDesi program which moved from 98.7 HD 2 to 97.1 HD 2 and the Edison Translator has now switched to rebroadcast 97.1 HD 2

WQHT Hot 97

HD 1 HIP Hop / R&B
HD 2 Hum Desi (Also on 100.7 Edison N.J.Translator)

You may be on to something.

Each time I come up there, I still see a North-South separation as there was when there was 201/609 area codes. There may be more area codes, but I still see the difference and more so with radio since the NYC freqs have been more duplicated with drop-ins in South Jersey and translators in North and Central Jersey wiping out any possiblility of "dx".
