New HD2 on WJLK

After having been off for months, WJLK has ressurected its HD, including a new HD2 called "Diffuser FM" ..
http://www.diffuser.fm is described as being an alternative/indie rock "station" ..

I love watching marketing-types try to package "indie". Good luck with that.

(No, really, good luck with that. The more people there are with HD radios, the happier I am.)

Good news for the rock alternative fans that have another source for their music.  Now when the hell is the dance format going to be on the dial and have the money from local venues stop going to the Bennys?

Townsquare Media owns a few of these music news sites, like TasteofCountry.com and UltimateClassicRock.com. It looks like it's the only one with a streaming and HD station though. Maybe it broadcasts in multiple Townsquare markets on HD, anyone know?

Does anyone have also have any idea if it's being programmed locally in Jersey?

The HD2 on WJLK has actually been off the past few days .. temporarily, I presume ..

WJLK is still in HD, just no HD2 ..

WJLK has some of the best audio at the shore (analog or HD), but the HD signal is lacking...even in areas like Marlboro and Freehold. If there was a station that needed -14, it's WJLK-FM.

Of course, posts like this make me think that Pirate Jim, Nick & I are the only ones with HD radios in Mon/Oc :p

I have one too! (Actually two, an Insignia portable and my car's radio) Of course being this far south in Ocean County I don't get any trace of WJLK's HD signal and in analog 94.3 is a 50/50 mix of WIBG-FM and WJLK.

Here's what I get in HD (on FM):

I get WSJO & WJRZ 100% of the time.

I get WPRB & WWNJ about 50% of the time.

I get WMMR, WYSP & WBEB about 25% of the time.
