New Home for Ramsey?

I actually enjoyed listening to Dave Ramsey on KXAM and on occasion catch his fox business news show as well. Even though I could deal without the bible/christian stuff on his show, the meat of his show which is financial info that we all can use is great to listen to. I wonder if any other station would pick him up in town. It looks like he is on more than 400+ stations across the country so I would think there could be a new home in phoenix somewhere on the dial.

I took one of his classes. He makes a lot of sense. Since he's self-syndicated, I'm sure he's working on a new home in Phoenix. I suppose KAZG could pick him up since they are taking up some of the KXAM slack. Or he could maybe head to 1010 (probably not) or 1100, or even 1280. Of those, KFNX 110 makes some sense.

9~Sixty, 12~Eighty and 15~Ten could be in the running. But the Nurse and I are hard pressed to think of what he brings to the table other than his FOX notoriety. And look what the CNN notoriety has done for Clark Howard in this market!

He'll probably try to buy his way onto a station, like he does in some other markets.
To me, you listen once and that's all you need. Every succeeding show sounds like a rerun of the first.

Ramsey does not pay for clears. That's why he is no longer on Salem stations. He will chip in some cash for promotional support in certain desirable markets.

I think his show is a breath of fresh air in a talk radio world filled with non stop political talk up and down the dial.

<<Ramsey does not pay for clears. That's why he is no longer on Salem stations. He will chip in some cash for promotional support in certain desirable markets>>

And that's not paying for a clear??? At a time when stations are desperate for cash? C'mon.

It's not paying for a clear because he sets the rules on how the promotion works. I don't believe the stations see the cash. He pays for ads for his show and promotes the station with it. Stations being desperate for cash isn't meaningful here; they're less desperate for advertising.
