Yeah Drew Carrey got it,BUT the news is the second runner up was MIke Shannon!! Yes sir. Mike has been picked as the new host of the "Power of Ten" "IF" it becomes a hit after its August 4th premier!!. Drew is its currrent host but the "price" folks asked him to step down and forcus on the "PIR". Mike was chosen due to his resemblance to Carrey. way to go Mike!!;)
 
Nah, I dropped my Vern Lundquist horn rims a long time ago. The new specs are kind of a cross between Tracy Rowlett's and Mark Davis's. Now I'm only 50 lbs and 2 bra sizes away from hosting "Good Morning Texas." National TV is not ready for this mug yet, although I've appeared twice on "The Price is Right" (1988 and 1996; I'll be playing both those appearances for the public at the Galaxy Drive-In in Garrett, TX next week...bring your microscope, as I'm buried in the audience with 319 other people.) Afterwards, I'll do a re-creation of me shouting price suggestions to a clueless contestant in the "Any Number" game, and when I told the late Rod Roddy that we missed him in Dallas on KLIF.

"Power of 10"? I was so hoping to be chosen to host "National Bingo Night." :p
 


Another reason I read in the Hollywood Reporter was Drew agreed to be spayed and neutered and Mike respectfully declined.

At least Mike would be alive.

Bob Barker has been dead for years.

What you are actually seeing on that stage is a very cutting edge
animatron concocted from the latest designers at Industrial Light
and Magic.... :D

Rod Roddy was a prototype that had a voice sensor failure....All
he could say was "Come On Down!"
 
Inadequate bra size has diminished the career of many a radio/tv person. Sorry it happened to Mike.
