Okay I thought we were talkin about a new host for this website til someone mentioned KRC promos.

New host on KRC? Who's goin? I'm assuming it would be Laura, but ya never know.
 
no - i have to assume it's Levin that's going. he's just awful on radio. if i had my druthers, sean vannity would walk. god i can't stand that guy. but it's gotta be levin. i can't imagine his numbers are holding that spot secure. bortz is a workhorse. makes sense.

or who knows....maybe WLW will make an announcement on garry's replacement?

I have to agree with you on Levin. That show is the same every night. Same ole Same ole. Phil Hendrie would be a refreshing change but the show would be on delay. Bortz is not live either during 9-midnight either.

I don't know if a lot of people here remember him or not but IF they go with a syndicated show I hope they pick up "Online Tonight with David Lawrence". It is a very entertaining show from LA and I remember hearing it on WBOB before WDJO took them over. That is if they go syndicated that is. I know it is wishful thinking but I REALLY HOPE they dump the syndication idea and stay local. But we know CC's track record with local programming. :mad:
 
isn't Lawrence the competitor of Kim Komando? didn't he used to come out of WGN? i would LOVE the idea of Phil Hendery being back on. what happened with him, anyway? he retired to write for TV/film, and now he's back?

Phil Hendrie is back with his show on TRN http://www.philhendrieshow.com/ He's no longer on TV unless it's Voice Work like he does on King of The Hill. He's live from 1 am to 4 am East Coast. I can pick him up on 101.5 WVLK FM in Lexington when the weather is right.


Dave Lawrence is still on but his show has gotten away from Tech and is now focused on pop culture topics.

Isn't Laura Ingraham coming to Cincinnati for an event soon? Boortz must be on tape delay. I listen to him sometimes on WHIO and he's okay. I really only agree with him when he talks about separation of church and state and the like.
 
I just checked Neal's syndication page and Cincinnati is just getting an hour of him from 11pm to midnight. Bummer. I was hoping that Levin would be off the air because the combination of his idiocy and Ethel Merman voice really grate on me.
 
Hopefully Dennis Miller...or somebody with a brain. Levine is annoying as hell--even more so on his own than when he is a schill for Hannity.

Kim Kommando should be gone for good and replaced with a local paying wannabe soon.

when i emailed furman a few months ago telling him to drop the "the bigger one" schtick (he then went on to put it to a "vote" by callers, citing my email - i "lost"), part of his emailed response was that the 2AGs would begin in oct. or nov., which means if they do they'd be an obvious replacement for cow.

as i've said before, i'm a long time listener of mancow. he was MUCH more entertaining with his old, pre-9/11 crew. seems a lot of guys take refuge in a big event to lose their 'edge.' when i last lived in chicago, one of my fav guys was Jay Marvin (who filled in for Springer a few times). his excuse was columbine. i guess things get old after a while.
