New Imagen station in Agua Prieta, Sonora

Imagen's Agua Prieta, Sonora, station has finally come on the air as XHCTAP, beginning operations September 10, 2024. Unable to use virtual channel 3 due to KFTU channel 3 in neighboring Douglas, Arizona, XHCTAP was assigned virtual channel 10.1 for their Imagen programming. XHCTAP's secondary subchannel, Excelsior TV, is able to use channel 3.4, since KFTU only uses virtual channels 3.1 and 3.2.

It is unknown whether or not XHCTAP's complementary station in Cananea, Sonora, is on the air yet.
