New Imaging for 94WIP

WIP launch new imaging complete with a new voiceover guy replacing Dick Ervasti who's been their primary voiceover guy since about '06. The new guy ironically (I think, I don't know his name) was the former voiceover guy for WMGK before Jim Cutler took over. Pretty neat to hear his voice back in the market.
 
A little improved. I think the best Imaging they had was the final one for 610. I liked the whistling intro to shows it had.

Wish they would bring back the classic spots update music. The new one they started with the switch to 94.1 just isn't the same.

I actually like the three update themes they have now. Much improvement to the one tired theme they ran into the ground. I have a copy of it and it really isn't much of anything. At least the new stuff has a bit of a melody to it.
 
Vic did indeed do ads for the Rocky Hill, CT-based Ames ("Bargains by the Bag full!") He also briefly voiced WTIC-FM 96.5 of Hartford (the old and superior 96 TIC-FM) in 1989-90. I don't know enough about Philadelphia radio in terms of Vic. What I do know is that the voice on WMGK-FM 102.9 is the voice doing the ESPN Radio and the WEEI Sports Radio IDs in much of New England.

That's Jim Cutler. He's also the voice of WPHL-TV

Vic used to do some VO for Y-100. In between Sean Caldwell's stuff. Also radio 104 in Hartford. I know because me and Jay-Beau Jones co-opted some studio time for Vic. $$$$$
