New Internet Feed Allows Emmy Winners To Finish Long Acceptance Speeches

As part of their telecast of the 62nd Annual Emmy Awards this weekend, NBC is partnering with Ustream for "Backstage Live At The Emmys," an Internet feed that will feature everything from stars' arrival to the ceremony, to "candid moments from stars as they prepare to take the stage at the Awards."

"Backstage" will also offer what is called a "Thank You" camera, "where Emmy winners will be able to continue their speeches after the pit orchestra has cued them off the stage."

So if you're a fan of long award acceptance speeches, this is for you!

Who in heck watches award shows to begin with ?

I mean after all how many times can an actor thank everyone on planet Earth for their award along with their Aunt Tillie?

Award shows are long and boring.

I enjoy awards shows. Sometimes the speeches are good.

I wish they had more clips showing what was actually nominated.

The Charlotte Observer totally ignored "Temple Grandin". And, yes, I get to see the final edition.
